Dishes are made with the finest seasonal ingredients, mostly sourced from Moor Hall’s five-acre landscape or the local area. Gaisgill Row Farm Blue Grey beef tartare, barbequed salsify, oyster leaf, pommes souffle; Roast Cornish monkfish with Jerusalem artichoke, crosnes, winter purslane, kombu and mussel sauce or Garden apple mille-feuille with buttermilk custard and cider caramel . Visit us on a Sunday for our incredibly popular Sunday lunch with roasted 60-day-aged Belted Galloway sirloin and all the trimmings.

Continuing Mark Birchall’s field-to-plate philosophy, our team at The Barn serves an ever-evolving menu of exciting dishes that showcase the best seasonal ingredients grown in our garden and beyond.  Dishes can include Cured Cornish red mullet with fennel, fermented
rhubarb and nasturtium, Belted Galloway short rib glazed with black garlic, shallot, charred gem lettuce and smoked marrow sauce or Squash custard tart clementine, crème fraiche and birch sap

Available for children of up to 12 years,  our children’s menu features fail safe options such as garlic bread, spaghetti bolognese and strawberry doughnuts with vanilla ice cream
